I designed this community mural for Wells Fargo in Casper, Wyoming, using archival photography gathered by the researcher. The composition brings together Chief Washakie of the Eastern Shoshone, downtown street scenes, and moments from the city’s civic life.
Images of Natrona County High School and a 1931 July Fourth parade sit alongside the “Man Made Energy” monument and Pathfinder Dam on the North Platte River. Together, these subjects trace the people, education, industry, and infrastructure that shaped Casper and the surrounding region.
The mural was printed on fabric and mounted in an aluminum frame. I designed the mural and companion key, coordinated production, and reviewed the installation. The key identifies the source images and provides historical context for each subject.
