I’m Devin Gumm, a senior designer and creative lead based in Davis, California. My work spans publications, environmental graphics, motion, and brand identity.
Experience
At Wells Fargo, I designed over 300 community murals across 37 states, working with researchers and project managers to turn archival imagery into visual stories. I handled the mural design, key layout, color proofing, production specifications, and installation review. I also designed storyboards and animated Community Spotlight videos, including an early pan-through prototype that adapted a printed mural for digital display.
My other work includes the Caltrans IT Annual Performance Report, designed as an independent contractor for Delegata; retail and promotional graphics for DBI Beverage; and a logo refresh and printed collateral for RAM Wine Tours.
How I work
I begin with the audience, the purpose, and where the work will be used. I develop the design with collaborators and stay involved through production, paying attention to the details of the finished work.
